Thorpe Park have announced all the spooky attractions coming to Fright Nights 2018.
“This is our most intense year for Fright Nights yet with more scares than ever before. With multiple new mazes and scare zones throughout the resort, literally nowhere will be safe and the season is definitely not for the faint-hearted.” Dominic Jones, Divisional Director at Thorpe Park Resort.
There will be six new live-action scare experiences across the park including Vulcan Peak – an intense nightmarish tribal hell where visitors will need their most primal instincts to survive, AMC’s The Walking Dead: Do or Die – a macabre experience filled with nail-biting jeopardy and finally a new sinister version of the Fright Nights classic, Blair Witch.
For the first time in years the Halloween event will also feature two new Scare Zones filled with live scare actors. These zones will be called Terror at Amity High and Big Top Showtime. Fanta’s evil vending machine is also set to return for a few select dates.
Several fan favourite mazes will also be returning to the island like no other this year: The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare, SAW Alive, Platform 15 and Containment.
Also new for this year will be Screamplexx 4D in the Angry Birds theatre. The cinema will showcase short indie horror films.
But that’s not all… Thorpe Park are bringing a platter of severed fingers, ears and eyeballs to the table with their new Bloody Banquet.
The horrifying cannibal banquet, took top experimental chef Steve Tremblay (personal chef to Simon Cowell and Beyoncé) three months to perfect. As part of the feast, 25 litres of Red Hot Soup was created and served in blood bags, alongside fingers, ears and eyeballs made from 30 kilograms of a milk and white chocolate.
The gory chocolate feast will be available on select dates during Fright Nights.
Fright Nights will taking place at the Thorpe Park Resort from the 5th to the 31st of October. For more information or to book your tickets visit the Thorpe Park Website.
